Awarded an MBE in 2023 for Further Education in the Creative Industries, Arit is the former founder and director of the multi-award-winning recruitment and training company DiVA Apprenticeships. Arit led the delivery of the BRITs Apprenticeship Scheme.​

Arit sits on the Equity Justice Advisory Group (EJAG), contributing to steering the BPI’s Equality, Diversity and Intersectional work She is also the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion delivery partner for membership organisations such as the BPI, IMPALA, and the Association of Independent Music (AIM), designing and facilitating training initiatives for their member companies.​

Arit features in top-tier media outlets such as ITV News and Times Radio and media publications such as Red Magazine and Stylist magazine. Providing tips on building careers they love through employment, entrepreneurship or a mixture of both.​
