Through our Speaker Academy and digital content we share stories and conversations that matter. From talking about race, sexuality and ability, to power, privilege and bias, we inspire courageous conversations that cultivate inclusion and belonging.

Since launching in 2014, we have worked with more than 300 organisations across sport and business, including many of the FTSE 100 companies. We have supported over 30,000 mentors and mentees.

 

Job purpose

 

Develop effective client relationships and work in collaboration with the other client partners, consultants, learning delivery, events and communications teams to create and manage the delivery of excellent programmes which meet the client’s needs and deliver on our mission.

 

Scope

 

Management of c. 5- 7 key customer accounts (depending on size and complexity) Management of own client budgets Working towards business objectives and KPIs Part of more than 250 clients, impacting over 5,000 participants, through more than 300 learning events per year

 

Key accountabilities

 

Project and Programme Management

  • Creating project and programme plans that meet client needs and expectations

  • Managing project timelines and milestones in partnership with the events team (operations)

  • Ensuring programmes are delivered on-time and on-budget

  • Acting as hosts, ensuring every guest is welcomed and cared for throughout

  • Develop and manage programme budgets and forecasts

  • Working with the learning team to contribute to the development of programmes and events to meet the client needs

Client and Account Management

  • Building and maintaining mutually beneficial 1:1 relationship with client programme partners and stakeholders

  • Providing regular, meaningful updates to clients and internal Moving Ahead and Women Ahead stakeholders

  • Analysing and acting on client feedback to improve programmes and services

  • Carrying out check-in calls with programme participants (often mentors and mentees) and stakeholders

  • Ensure the CRM systems are maintained up-to-date for relationship management and business development purposes

  • Work collaboratively, share knowledge and build relationships with key partners and stakeholders both internally and externally – eg consultants, film, communications

  • Contribute to the effective use and development of IT systems

Business Development

  • Identifying and signpost new opportunities to expand or add value to programmes with existing clients as well as opportunities for cross selling

  • Ensuring the retention of clients in line with KPI’s

  • Actively source and recruit new partners and clients

 

Knowledge, skills and experience required

 
  • Highly skilled and passionate client, project and programme management expert

  • Experience of managing a learning & development product or service

  • Ability to work at a fast pace overseeing the delivery of multiple projects at the same time

  • Experience of providing clients with outstanding service

  • Attention to detail, careful planning and excellence in execution

  • Curious about clients’ needs and ability to seek out opportunities

  • Dedicated team player and highly collaborative

  • Expert use of excel, word and power-point

  • Experience of developing and managing a budget

  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment; adaptable and confident

  • Attention to detail– e.g. proof-reading documents and presentations, checking plans,

  • Positive and enthusiastic

  • Team worker
