Accelerating the advancement and representation of women into executive leadership roles in partnership with the 30% Club

The Executive

Accelerator programme

We invite your organisation to participate in the first-of-its kind Executive Accelerator Programme.

A cross-company, cross-sector programme that brings together Executive pipeline women mentees (Exec minus one or two) to be mentored by a NED or Chair from another organisation.

Building on the success and impact of our existing 30% Club cross-company mentoring programmes, Moving Ahead is proud to introduce this cross-sector mentorship and learning programme to accelerate and advance women into the executive committee.

Despite this positive shift, gender parity in the executive committee has been progressing by 1% year on year and is now stalled at 25% globally.

The case for change is clear:

The 2023 FTSE Women Leaders Report recommends companies should have at least one woman in the Chair or Senior Independent Director role on the Board, and/or one woman in the Chief Executive Officer or Finance Director role in the company by the end o

From the Cranfield University’s Female FTSE Board Report 2022, supported by EY:

91% of women on FTSE 100 boards are in Non-Executive Director roles but just nine women hold CEO roles in the FTSE 100.
There is a lack of progress in women being appointed into significant decision-making roles, such as Chair and CEO.
The number of women in NED roles in the FTSE 100 has increased by 15% over the past year, whereas women in executive directorships increased by just 3% to 36.
