After his life-changing air accident, the former SAS trooper has become a high-profile Ambassador for Help for Heroes and tireless campaigner for other charities. He recently qualified as a Course Director at PADI - the highest instructor rating in the world’s largest diving organisation. He is a familiar face on the lecture circuit, has competed as a cyclist in the London Invictus Games and taken part in many of the toughest challenges in extreme sports and outdoor pursuits. He is a mountain leader, all-terrain expedition leader, ski instructor, sky-diver, hot air balloon pilot – and medical miracle. He has carried out extensive media work, including live television, plus many print and online features. In association with Penguin Books, Jamie recently published his powerful and inspirational biographical-memoir, Life On A Thread.​
