Kolarele Sonaike is a Communications Coach helping executives and professionals develop outstanding communication skills to accelerate their careers.He coaches on
what he calls the 'Communication SuperSkills' (storytelling, public speaking, persuasion, leadership communication etc), guiding his clients to build the confidence to communicate with impact. For companies and organisations seeking to improve the diversity within their senior ranks, Kolarele also delivers programmes to empower the career ownership and advancement of Black talent.
Kolarele has been a practising Barrister and accredited Mediator for 25 years, representing clients in the High Court, Employment Tribunals and Court of Appeal. His casework covers areas such as shareholder and director disputes, contractual disagreements, and unfair dismissal and discrimination and more. He is the host of The Great Speech Podcast and his own YouTube Channel, and his book 'How to Give a Great Speech' is available on Amazon and in bookshops around the world. His corporate clients have included companies and organisations, including Meta, The Bank of England, Ricoh Global, Elavon, Bank of America, SEC Newgate, Jones Lang LaSalle, Federation of Small Businesses, Your Business Community, Local Government Association, BT OpenReach, University of East London, Your Future Your Ambition, Eversholt Rail and others. He is also a Keynote Speaker and MC, speaking on topics like leadership, communication, and empowering black talent. He also featured as a Communications Coach on the TV show 'The Updaters' on Amazon Prime TV. Kolarele is President Emeritus of the mentoring charity, the 100 Black Men of London and former Director of the 100 Black Men of America. He is the author of the Children’s picture book ‘The Bird that had Vertigo’ and is a proud supporter of West Ham United!
